Notes

Recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall, London on 6 April 1992 when George fronted a special one-off concert in aid of the Natural Law Party ahead of the 1992 British General Election.

This was George’s first and last show since his tour in Japan with Eric Clapton in 1991 and his first appearance on a British stage since backing Delaney And Bonnie & Friends in December 1969. And after this show, despite vague talks about further shows in the UK and US, George never played a show before a paying audience again.

The set is similar to the Japan tour in 1991 and the backing musicians, dubbed the “Hijack Band” are:

Mike Campbell : guitar

Andy Fairweather-Low : guitar

Ray Cooper : percussions

Chuck Leeavell : keyboards, vocals

Greg Phillinganes : keyboards, vocals

Steve Ferrone : drums

Will Lee : bass, vocals

Katie Kissoon : backing voclas

Tess Niles : backing vocals

The first encore is While My Guitar Gently Weeps with Ringo Starr on drums. Gary Moore plays the guitar solo in the middle. Roll Over Beethoven features Joe Walsh on guitar, and George’s son, Dhani, on guitar during the song’s reprise.
